PRINCIPALS
MESSAGE: May 9, 2005 |
Take a Peek at Hall
You are invited to join us for Open House on Thursday,
May 12, from 7–8:30pm. Open House provides
an overview of programs and projects, as well as an opportunity
to get a flavor of some of the exciting things happening at Hall
this year. Teachers will be in their classrooms to share student
work and answer your questions about their program and the activities
that students have engaged in this year. A variety of other activities
will also be available, including a gymnastics demonstration,
performances by the choir and jazz band, STOMP! performances, volcano
demonstrations, debate performances and the perennial Rube Goldberg
contraptions.
In order to help the night run smoothly, we ask for your cooperation.
While the evening is an opportunity to have the whole family enjoy
Hall, it is very important that parents keep their children
with them during Open House. The purpose of the evening
is for parents to enjoy the activities along with their
children. When children are running through the halls unsupervised,
they are a distraction and a safety issue. Also, remember
that this evening is meant as a forum to display student work,
and that time does not allow for one-on-one teacher conferencing.
Be courteous of other parents and arrange for a conference at a
later date, if necessary. Student Council “Helpers” will
be on campus to help you find your way, and a detailed schedule
of activities will be available.
I look forward to seeing you all here on Thursday so we can share
your child’s work with you.
