PRINCIPALS
MESSAGE: Jan. 9, 2006 |
Rain and Tides
The restart of school after the break
went very smoothly. Despite our historical
sensitivity to high tides and
rain, we managed to avoid any flooding
during the recent storms. In the
event of a school closure in the future,
we will use the PTA Phone Tree
to directly contact families. It looks
like the weather will take a turn for
the mild, so we don’t anticipate any
issues.
A Great Showcase
The annual Winter Concert prior to
the winter break was an excellent
showcase of our musical talent at
Hall. Under the guidance of Ken
Brungess, the Intermediate Band,
Advanced Band and the Jazz Cats
performed a variety of songs that
demonstrated their musical range.
Each band filled the gym with beautiful
music, ranging from seasonal favorites
to New Orleans jazz.
Parent Deliveries
If you need to deliver homework,
lunches or PE uniforms to your students
during school, be sure to bring
them to the office, not directly to their
classroom. Parent deliveries in the
classroom can disrupt the flow of a
class. The office staff will ensure that
your student receives their delivery.
If you occasionally bring a lunch
when your child forgets their lunch,
remind your child to check in at the
office at the beginning of lunch on
the days that they forget.
