Solving A Problem
Several weeks ago I invited families to work on a
Mathletes problem. I received a large number of correct responses
(11 are in line in front of you). I have randomly drawn names from
the responses. I am happy to invite the students listed below and
their parents to join me for an ice cream excursion on Thursday,
February 9 during lunch. Congratulations to all of you who took
the time to correctly solve the problem. There are still two more
Mathletes competitions this year, so there will be two more opportunities
to solve math problems and eat ice cream.|

Principal’s List and Honor Roll
As
the second quarter comes to a close, it is time to recognize the
students who had remarkable academic achievements last quarter.
The academic program at Hall is challenging and rigorous. We believe
that consistent excellent performance is an accomplishment worth
recognizing. The students on the Honor Roll earned at least a 3.5
grade point average. The Principal’s List students
earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
[The complete
Principal’s List and Honor Roll are on the PDF
version of the Hall Weekly Bulletin. —Ed.]
