Cameras and Phones
In order to protect student
privacy and confidentiality, students are not permitted to bring
cameras to school. Cell phones that have cameras on them should
follow the existing rules for cell phones – they must be
kept in a locker, turned off all day long. Cell phones are not
to be carried or used by students during the school day. This includes
recess and lunch. If you need to get in touch with your child during
the school day, call the office and we will contact your child
for you. If your child needs to call you, they can use the pay
phone on campus or use the phone in the office. Students who violate
this policy will have their phone or camera confiscated and will
receive a detention.
Please help us to ensure the privacy of students
on campus and minimize disruptions and distractions in class by
working with your children to keep cameras off of campus and cell
phones in lockers at all times. Thank you for your support.
Site Council Survey
In backpack mail today you will find the annual Site
Council Parent Survey. Every year the Site Council, a representative
body of parents, teachers and students, solicits feedback from
parents and students about the academic program, communication,
and homework load and school climate at Hall. This information
is used to help us improve all aspects of the school. The Site
Council gathers the data and identifies patterns and trends. All
of this information is presented to the board of trustees and the
staff in the spring. Please complete one survey for each student
you have enrolled at Hall. We appreciate your feedback.
