PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE: December 8, 2003

Tag, You’re It
The final QSP activity is coming up for the sixty-two students who met the minimum magazine subscription requirements. Those students will enjoy an afternoon of Laser Tag in Rohnert Park. In order to accommodate the number of kids who qualified, we will be going on two separate days. To even out the groups, qualifying eighth graders will go on Friday, December 12th along with the sixth graders in Mr. Stoeckley’s core classes. Mr. Stoeckley will be supervising the event. The seventh graders and remaining sixth graders who earned the trip will go on Tuesday, December 16th.
Students will leave here at 11:30am (just after 3rd period) and drive to Rohnert Park. They will enjoy a round of laser tag before being treated to a pizza lunch. After lunch they will have one more round before heading back to school. They should return by 3:10pm.

Those students who are invited to participate should have already received their permission slips. Signed slips are due back in the office by Wednesday, December 10th.

In order to make this event happen, we need parent drivers for each day. Approximately 30 students will participate each day. If you are interested and available, please call Jane Shapiro in the main office to sign up for one or both days.

—Daniel Norbutas, Principal
