STAR Writing
This week the seventh grade students will be taking the STAR writing
assessment. The test will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 16th
and 17th. Students will take the test in their Language Arts and
Social Studies classes. It is very important that all students be
in attendance on these days. Help your child to do their best by
getting a good night’s sleep and a full breakfast.
February Students of the Month
Grade level teams met to identify the six students of the month
for February. After their discussions they identified students who
have contributed to the classroom setting through their attitude,
cooperation and relationships with adults and peers. I am very proud
of the work these students have been doing and the way in which
they enhance the learning environment for all students.
• 8th Grade: Jessica & Steven
• 7th Grade: Emma & Bryce
• 6th Grade: Mariana & Rob
