PRINCIPALS
MESSAGE: May 24, 2004 |
Meetings and Greetings
Last week I met with many of the incoming sixth-grade students
and their parents. It was great getting to spend time with our
future Hall students and talk about next year. The fifth graders
will also be visiting Hall this week for a tour. They will get
to see sixth-grade classrooms, the library, the lockers, and the
gym. After the tour they will join the middle school students for
lunch. I know incoming sixth graders and their families will be
a great addition to the Hall community, and I look forward to working
with them for the next three years.
Amazing Auction
Last week I experienced my first Foundation Auction. What an amazing
event. The racquet club was transformed by incredible decorations
and the guests all had creative costumes reflecting the “We
are the World” theme. The energy, enthusiasm and sense
of community at the event were palpable. The event symbolized
the community’s commitment to the Larkspur schools.
Great thanks to all of the individuals who gave so much from their
hearts and pocketbooks. I commend all those who put countless hours
into making the event a huge success.
