Street Painting Festival 2003
Chalk-a-lot
Friday,
October 3, 2003 • 3:15–5:00pm • Hall Middle School
In
the warm autumn sunshine, Hall students, siblings, parents, staff
and guests gathered for the 10th Annual Hall Street Painting Festival.
Busy artists of all ages turned the asphalt of the Hall playground
into a textured canvas of shape and color during this afternoon
of “performance art.”
Music
by the Hall Band and ‘Til Dawn kept artists and
admirers entertained, and there was food and drink aplenty to keep
the hungry participants satisfied. Chalk dust lay heavy on the ground,
rubbed into many talented hands, and faces were painted, too. See
