Meeting of Thursday, May 18, 2000
12:45pm • Hall Library
Meeting called to order at 12:45pm.
Board members present: Alexandra Cock, Bob Cone, Kathy Grey, Lindsay
McCrea, Robin Moller, Mary Sue Murray, Becky Reed, Debra Ziegler.
Board members absent: Rosanne Clifford, Kathie Cummins, Anne Gilberg,
Robin Hamilton, Donna Kilian.
- PRESIDENT’S WELCOME
- MINUTES
MSP to approve executive board minutes of April 13, 2000.
MSP to approve general meeting minutes of May 16, 2000.
- TREASURERS REPORT (attached)
- 5/16/00 Income less expenses (since 7/1/99): $13,240.67
- 5/16/00 Account balance: $17,458.31
- Reviewed the budget to date. Send in all outstanding bills. Lindsay
will prepare a draft budget for Anne Gilberg. Cultural arts budget
is for bringing in programs.

- New Slate for 2000-2001

- Ratified By-Laws
Approved by the state PTA.
- Teacher/Staff Appreciation Lunch 5/5/00
Went well.
- Beautification
Pots planted, more vines on the fence.
- Update on New Freezer
New freezer installed, old one disposed of, all at no charge (under
warranty.)
- Nurse’s Mattress
Project complete, courtesy of Stoich Designs. Additional mattress
should be completed soon.
- New Business
- Historian’s Report of Hours Spent Volunteering
Report complete.
- Last Lunch Day
The last lunch day is 5/30. Next year, schedule lunches up to the
last week.
- Year-end Old/New Executive Board Celebration
At Lindsay’s on June 1st.
- PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
- Open House: Went well. Thanks to Lindsay for speech.
- This Friday: Concert of the Bands.
- Next Wednesday: Principal for the Day will be Talulah Preston.
Going out to lunch.
- Next Tuesday and Wednesday: Golden State exam for Algebra
students. (Honorary exam.)
- June 2: Ice cream sundaes in recognition of community service
contributions.
- June 7: All-School Picnic at Hamilton. Students will be traveling
on buses (paid for by student council funds.) No chaperones needed.
- June 8: 6th and 7th grade awards ceremony.
- June 9: 8th grade picnic at Windsor Water Works.
- June 13: Graduation practice at Redwood, 8th grade awards
ceremony. Graduation at Redwood, 4:00pm.
- June 14: Last day of school. 8th graders come at 10:00am,
dismissal for all at 1:05pm.
Meeting adjourned at 1:40pm.
No more executive board meetings scheduled for this school year.
