Henry C. Hall Middle School PTA GENERAL MEETING MINUTES
Meeting of Thursday, September 5, 2000
8:30pm • Hall MUR
Meeting called to order at 8:30pm by President Anne Gilberg.
- PRESIDENT’S WELCOME
- Thank you to all those who have volunteered to help this year.
- Please see the [attached] PTA Roster to see where we still need
volunteers.
- TREASURER’S REPORT and DISCUSSION OF DRAFT 2000-2001 BUDGET
[See attached.]
- Thanks to Kathie Cummins for her Treasurer’s Report and preparation
of draft budget.
- Recommend change in amount budgeted for Beautification due to construction.
- Lunch Tables on order (six, with blue benches.) Would like help
assembling them on the day of the Chalk Festival.
- MSP to approve “Proposed Budget for 2000-2001” amended
to allow the Executive Board to transfer the Beautification funds
($1,000) wherever needed.
- UPCOMING PTA EVENTS
- Lunch program to start on Monday, September 11. Thanks to Stephanie
Hart, Judi Stewart, and Lindsay McCrea.
- Weekly Bulletin: Thanks to Dena Van Derveer and Becky Reed.
- Chalk Festival: Sunday, October 8th. Thanks to Laura Hill and Jeannie
Perry.
- Membership: Drive is in progress, thanks to Karen Deist. · Magazine
Sales: Date to be determined. Thanks to Kathy Julian and Sandi Schaefer.
- 7th & 8th Grade Dance: First dance is October 27th, sponsored by
the Larkspur Recreation Department. We need 14 volunteer chaperones.
- Parent Ed Night: Tuesday, September 12th, 7:00 PM, MURÑSAFE.
- PRINCIPAL’S WELCOME
- Thanks for coming. Conceptual facilities plan in the office.
